As a writer I've been wanting to start a blog ever since writing blogs became popular... but I never actually sat down and did it. Well - I finally sat down and started writing. Doing this reminded me of how my high school English teacher would say "just start writing and don't pick your pencil up off the paper until I say so". I did just this. I started writing and here we are.
As a quick introduction, I am a marketing and communication specialist with experience developing a variety of brands in a number of industries. Currently, I am the public relations director for an award-winning marketing firm, Thinkbig Media. I also freelance for public relations projects and write for a variety of online and print publications.
Who knows how this blog will develop, but for now it's a great way for potential clients to read first hand about my marketing experience. It also serves as an outlet to express ideas, stories, opinions on news articles and share everyday stories.
I call my blog :statement: because the definition of a statement is a clear expression of something in writing and/or an account of events given by a witness. You'll see both.
